(born 26 September 1988) is a Canadian Youtube personality, vlogger, comedian, actress and writer. She is better known by her YouTube username IISuperwomanII. She covers topics ranging from relationships to career choices to everyday annoyances in her videos which have over a billion views. Lilly has worked hard to get where she is and has shared the lessons she learned while facing this world head on in her book How to Be A Bawse: A Guide to Conquering Life.

To clarify a Bawse:  is a person who exudes confidence, hustles relentlessly, reaches goals, gets hurt efficiently, and smile genuinely because he or she has fought through it all and made it out the other side.

Don't just try to pass your classes; try to ace them. Don’t just aim to pay your bills; save enough to travel. I don’t want you to write a script just to see a movie get made; I want you to win an Oscar. That’s the difference between settling like a survivor and conquering like a BAWSE.

 How to Be a Bawse is full of incredible, inspiring lessons everyone should read and know. It’s a guide to not surviving life but conquering it. Lilly doesn’t just write about inspiration quotes and the best part of her lavish life; she talks about her struggle with depression, overcoming it and growing as a person. She's straight forward and talks about the reality of working hard to get what you want and accomplishing your goals. In addition, she encourages others to spread kindness and to inspire others. Lily writes to her audience to help others and change the world in a positive way. If you are passionate about something, make it heard and shout it out across the world! Have only good vibes and try to lessen the negatively in your life.

Train your brain to think positively… Almost everything else in life has limits, but your mind is the one thing that has no limits. So, what are you going to think about? What are you going to talk about? Are you going to waste your mind on gossip and drama? You shouldn’t, because your brain deserves better…Spend time each day thinking about ideas to GROW your mind and resist the urge to talk negatively about people.

  Instead of tearing people down we should be rising each other up. Complimenting others and brighten each others day. If everyone had that sort of mentality, then I'm pretty sure the world would be an even more magnificent place. #NOHATE!! 

Everyone is special and unique, but that specialness goes away if you do not do anything with your unique characteristics… Participation ribbons are for country fairs, not life. You don’t get one for being born.

Another lesson to be learned from Lilly's book is that we should use our talents and uniqueness to their full potential otherwise, what's the point of even having them. Never try to hide who you are. Be a positive influence on the world and to those around you.

Overall this was a fantastic book and I would definitely recommend this book to everyone and anyone nor matter their age. Anyone can learn something from this book no matter who or how old they are.
